Cheryl started her career in advertising with McCann-Erickson Singapore and moved to China in 1995 for J. Walter Thompson (JWT) Beijing where she served as Account Director, before joining Motorola as Head of Marketing for consumer devices. In 2000, she started her own Mobile VAS business which led to diverse involvement in various business ventures, taking on Executive positions in Management or on the Board of Directors – primarily in privately-financed entities founded in Shanghai. Alongside these entrepreneurial activities, Cheryl also offered business consultancy to early-stage companies under her company, Vison-5 Limited.

She previously served as Strategy Project Manager at Christian Dior Couture and in LVMH’s Strategy Division, leading strategic initiatives, with a focus on Chinese consumers. She holds a MBA degree from INSEAD and graduated from University of International Business with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Arts with distinction.

Kai holds MBA from Wharton School of Business, MA from University of Pennsylvania and MSc from TH Aachen, Germany.
